We honor a donor's vision for the future and the impact they wish to make on Montana State University. A donor is the only one who can determine what his or her gift will support. Nevertheless, specific names of programs, departments, degrees, athletic teams and facilities can change over time, so we encourage donors to use language in the will, trust or other gift document that provides some flexibility for the dean or president of the university to apply the gift to a substantially similar purpose. For more guidance, please see our sample bequest language.
